Baggage Policy

Customers on Plan tickets to Alaska Airlines planes receive unlimited access to one personal item free of charge on most of their flights.

Carry-on baggage

Book flight to Alaska Airlines guests may carry one personal item together with a single carry-on bag. Travelers are accepted to bring one carry-on bag with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 36cm x 23cm (22in x 14in x 9in).

Checked baggage

Passengers using Alaska Airlines' excess baggage services will pay USD 25 for the first and second checked luggage and USD 75 for each additional checked bag. The weight limit is 23 kg/51 lbs, and passengers are only allowed to bring two pieces of luggage, neither of which may be larger than 157 cm/62 in.

Cabin classes

The cabin choices that Alaska Airlines provides to customers are First Class and Business followed by Premium Economy and Economy.

Economy Class

Commercial aircraft services deliver the budget-friendly Main Cabin level at the lowest point in their pricing structure. Saver and Main Cabin fares represent the payment choices available to customers within the Main Cabin division.
